Senior ClickHouse Engineer

We’re looking for a dedicated and experienced ClickHouse DBA to take full ownership of our analytical database infrastructure. As more of our product shifts to ClickHouse, we need a specialist who can keep our clusters fast, reliable, and cost-efficient. You’ll partner closely with our backend and infra teams, enabling them to move faster while ensuring the database remains rock solid.

What You’ll Do

Cluster Operations

Manage and scale ClickHouse clusters (replication, sharding, distributed tables).

Handle schema evolution, partitioning strategies, and TTLs.

Maintain data consistency across replicas and shards.

Plan and execute upgrades with zero or minimal downtime.

Performance & Optimization

Profile and optimize heavy queries and table engines.

Tune key configs (max_threads, max_memory_usage, merge settings, I/O schedulers).

Benchmark cluster performance (ingest throughput, query latency, merge rate).

Work with engineers to optimize schema and query patterns.
